Long time no Sail

I haven’t been racing on a sail boat in about 3 years and made my way to my old stomping grounds. Cater lake sail club. It’s where I learned how to sail but spent a good portion of my youth.

I reached out to the race committee chairman and he forwarded my email to a couple of folks who needed some crew. I ended up crewing for Marty Wong on his Hunter 26

Marty let me drive on all 3 races and we came in first place. On our second race we caught up to the Capri 22′s that started 5 minutes before us.

I had a great time and I’m looking forward getting back into sailing. I’ll be buying one of those capri 22′s to one design race.
